… something may be wrong.

if you’re not feeling vibrant…

So… I write this big entry on spiritual elitism, manage to carry a dialogue on for a while about it… and then I disappear completely. What happened?

You know, much as I would love for yoga, meditation, wisdom, all of this to keep me healthy; much as I would love for Zaadz Wizard-dom to confer upon me immunity against illness…

Wow… I’ve really been below normal for more than a month, and it took me that long to realize I had a tooth infection. But the whole time, I felt myself slipping, sleeping more, having more trouble concentrating, getting grumpier. Taking a nap, getting fresh air, yoga, a lot of things helped for a little while until the energy drain from the infection gained the upper footing yet again.

And here we are building some incredible new tools – some you’re seeing already, some of which are still behind the curtains – and I’m attempting to be a key part of the team. Amazing how one thing can just tumble into so many parts of your life and go from less than ideal to.. what the hell is going on?

Finally though, having realized what’s been going on… I went to the dentist, took care of that tooth – mostly – more to do in a few weeks – and got some stuff to help clear the rest of the bug out… Even today, I’m still lower in energy than normal.. but some of the vibrancy is returning… more of the lucidity and focus… and when I smile it’s from all the way inside. It’s good to be back, but maybe a warning for myself and for others…

Be aware of yourself. Notice the moment vibrancy leaves your body. Because when it does; when every cell isn’t happy to just be alive and active… something is going on. It may be little.. It may be a few microbes having a grunge rock fest inside your tooth, but that tiny little bit can start a slide that you don’t see until it’s – pardon the pun – infected every bit of your life.

The good news is that the joy returns easily!
