amongst a mess of scattered stanzas
she dances
and I listen for her heart
in these lyrics.
sometimes she doesn’t have the skill
to tell me what she means,
and she dances
yes she leaves me love notes in
someone else’s words
I imagine what she means to say,
eyes closed and carried away by her songs,
I’m dancing
and I listen for her heart;
let myself dream.</p>
